Supervision Training and Experience
Trained in the CAIRA model of Pastoral Supervision, I am a member of CAIRANZ. I enjoy working across denominational boundaries.
I am a careful listener. I am aware of the boundaries between disciplines (supervision, spiritual direction, counseling) and will name them in sessions with clients. I am happy to refer clients if necessary.

Approach to pastoral supervision
I am an Anglican, but my spirituality is somewhat broader. I appreciate many aspects of Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox theology, and have a love of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, and various mystics through the ages. My spirituality is now firmly rooted in the Contemplative. I have an MA (Spirituality) from the Oblate School of Theology (San Antonio, Texas).
As a Benedictine Oblate, I aim to live my life according to the principles laid out by St Benedict in his Rule for monastics. I believe that God is always and everywhere active in our lives – our spiritual journey involves becoming aware of how God is present to us in each life situation.
I have been an active member of my local Anglican parish for over 30 years and am a Licensed Lay Minister, licensed as a worship leader, preacher, and catechist. I am a trained Spiritual Director and lead retreats at Sr Eveleen Retreat House in Sumner, Christchurch.
I have held several other positions of responsibility within the Diocese, my parish, and in both the Association of Christian Spiritual Directors in Aotearoa/New Zealand & CAIRANZ.
