Supervision Training and Experience
I am an Anglican priest based in Whakatū Nelson, serving in parish ministry and supporting youth ministry and the formation of young leaders across the diocese.
My faith is grounded in the Anglican tradition, with a strong interest in discipleship, prayer, spiritual formation, retreat, and creating spaces for honest reflection and growth.
My supervision experience has developed through pastoral ministry, leadership development, mentoring, and supporting youth workers, ministry leaders, and emerging leaders. I have experience facilitating reflective conversations around ministry practice, wellbeing, relationships, vocation, leadership, and faith, and I continue to develop my supervision practice through training, reflection, and my own supervision.
Approach to pastoral supervision
My approach to pastoral supervision is relational, reflective, and formational. I aim to create a safe and respectful space for honest kōrero, helping people reflect on their practice, wellbeing, relationships, and spiritual life. Rather than simply giving advice, I use questions and reflection to help people gain perspective, recognise patterns, strengthen healthy practice, and discern wise next steps.
